바이오시밀러는 특허가 만료된 생물의약품에 대한 복제약입니다. ‘비슷한’이라는 뜻을 가진 ‘Similar’과 생물학을 뜻하는 ‘Bio’가 결합된 단어로, 원래 약물과 거의 동일한 효과와 안전성을 제공합니다.

 Biosimilars are copies of biological drugs whose patents have expired. The term combines “Similar,” meaning “alike,” and “Bio,” referring to biology. These drugs offer nearly identical efficacy and safety to the original drug.
