표적 항암제는 암세포에서 주로 발현되는 특정 표적에 작용하여 정상 세포에 대한 손상을 최소화하는 방식으로 암을 치료합니다. 기존의 항암화학요법과 달리, 표적 치료는 암세포의 특정한 분자 변화를 표적으로 하여 더욱 정밀하게 작용합니다. 이러한 이유로 부작용이 줄어들며, 효과적으로 암의 성장을 억제하는 데 기여합니다.

 Targeted therapy treats cancer by attacking specific molecular targets that are predominantly expressed by cancer cells, minimizing damage to normal cells. Unlike traditional chemotherapy, targeted therapy acts more precisely by focusing on molecular changes specific to cancer cells. This reduces side effects and helps in controlling cancer growth more effectively.
