 Stem cell therapies utilize stem cells to regenerate damaged tissues or organs, representing a new class of biopharmaceuticals. Stem cells are undifferentiated cells capable of transforming into various body tissues. Key types include embryonic stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, and adult stem cells. Unlike conventional treatments aimed at inhibiting pathogens, stem cell therapies seek to restore lost functions, but their exact mechanisms of engraftment and differentiation are still scientifically challenging to fully explain.
